Today is #WinterWonderland Wednesday at Reclamation!
Winter storms may look different from state to state. For example, when some Reclamation facilities are getting snow, others may be getting rain. Today’s photo is from Nimbus Dam in California, during a winter storm that brought lots of rain along with it.
Thanks to John Hannon, USBR photographer, for today’s beautiful shot!

It’s #TriviaTuesday at Reclamation again, so get ready to put those minds to work for today’s question!

Reclamation’s Dam of the Week is Folsom Dam.
Folsom Dam and Reservoir is a component of the Central Valley Project. It is a major water management facility located within a large metropolitan area. With a capacity of 976,000 acre-feet, the Folsom Reservoir catches runoff from the extensive American River watershed. They are the key flood control structures protecting the Sacramento metropolitan area.
