Provide highly technical support and multiple task management in the areas of systems analysis, database design, testing, and implementation for the successful completion and operations of Oracle databases; this includes writing SQL reports and programming.
Leads and participates in upgrades and maintenance of databases. Responsible for work involving unusual technical complexity and employs imaginative, efficient, database solutions. Conducts on-going analysis of existing databases and tools to eliminate inefficiencies. Work with technical staff to acquire requirements for the database portion of the development projects.
Assist in the mentoring, training and directing work of more junior personnel. Develop, communicate, and maintain detailed work plans and schedules to ensure high quality products are delivered in a defined/agreed time frame ¿ ensure documented requirements, change management and other IT best business practices for all endeavors undertaken.

Responsibilities
Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a an individual to join an innovative team that supports our researchers in the clean energy mission, upholds the principles of a strong safety culture and enables researchers to excellence by developing state-of -the-art tools. The individual will interface with researchers and EES&T management to ensure research and operational excellence goals are achieved.
The person in this role is responsible for effectively communicating and implementing the vision of EES&T research and operational excellence. The individual will manage, analyze and resolve concerns with organizational interfaces, services, and resources to enable research and development activities.
The individual will function as a research excellence and operations analyst responsible for managing multiple tasks and/or special projects. Plan, prepare, and deliver presentations, documents, and electronic tools to enhance understanding of research and operational excellence objectives to the EES&T R&D community. The individual is responsible for developing and delivering solutions while ensuring high quality products are delivered in a defined/agreed time frame.
The individual will serve to enable research excellence in the life-cycle of Conduct of Research principles, policies, and procedures.
The individual will support the Contractor Assurance Analyst to ensure events are evaluated and reported in a timely manner; serve as the Incident Investigation Lead, Price Anderson Amendment Act Lead (PAAA) and the Noncompliance Tracking System Compliance Officer.
