VS Training and Exercise Program (VS TEP)

Veterinary Services Careers Program (VSCP)
The VSCP is designed to provide a support system for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into Federal service. The program can maximize developmental opportunities so participants are ready to meet the challenges of public veterinary health in our fast-paced society. The VSCP is being expanded to include additional professions beyond the veterinary field.

Smith Kilborne Program 
This program is designed to acquaint veterinary students with various foreign animal diseases which potentially threaten our domestic animal population.

VS Information Technology (IT) Applications Training
Classroom training for the Emergency Management Response System (EMRS) and Mobile Information Management (MIM) is listed in the PDS Training Catalog. The VS Information Systems Training Network is also available to assist end users of several VS IT applications. Network Associates are experienced VS IT application users and may be available to answer questions, provide field or web-based assistance, and provide classroom training. Network Associates are currently available to assist with Emergency Management Response Services (EMRS),  Mobile Information Management (MIM), Surveillance Collaboration Services (SCS), and Veterinary Services Process Streamlining (VSPS).
