EBSCO's leading online full text databases offer access to full text articles from peer-reviewed journals published by many of the world's most prestigious publishers. These databases offer a convenient way for users to search for abstracts and full text articles from a large collection of publications in one easy process. All of the databases listed below are fully searchable, with EBSCO's easy to use patron interface allowing the researcher to search through one or more of these databases at any one time.
Academic Search Premier is a multi-disciplinary full text database containing full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for all 8,144 journals in the collection. This collection offers information in areas of study that include: history, engineering, physics, business, language and linguistics, arts & literature, biology, ethnic studies, and many more. Academic Search Premier contains a large collection of peer-reviewed full text journals, offering critical information from many sources unique to this database. Examples of titles offered in Academic Search Premier include: American Forests, American History, American Historical Review, American Indian Quarterly, American Journal of Political Science, American Libraries, American Sociologist, British Journal of Sociology, Business Week, Conservation Biology, Contemporary Literature, Early American Literature, Economist, Family Relations, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Journal of Aesthetics & Art Criticism, Journal of Legal History, Political Science Quarterly, Journal of International Affairs, Journal of Politics, Library Journal, Social Forces, Sociological Review, Theological Studies, Women's Studies, etc. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles.
