  Tracking 101 gives an overview of the major components of Environmental Public Health Tracking. Topics include the National Tracking Network and Program, surveillance and epidemiology, types of tracking data, GIS, policies, and communication. Users can earn free continuing education from CDC and NEHA.

• Tracking in Action: Workforce Implementation

  Tracking in Action provides real-life examples of grantee Tracking Programs and Networks and how they have partnered with local programs and organizations to identify and combat environmental health concerns.

The Health Resources and Services Administration-funded Public Health Training Centers are partnerships between accredited schools of public health, related academic institutions, and public health agencies and organizations. The PHTC Network has hundreds of trainings, which cover topics such as leadership and management, epidemiology, and basic public health skills. Extreme Heat Training Module, Minnesota Department of Health

This module provides an overview of extreme heat events, public health implications, and strategies for individuals and local public health professionals. This module can be used as an educational piece for interested persons or as a "train the trainer" module for local public health departments. The training has been fully scripted for that purpose.

Keeping Track, Promoting Health Classroom Modules, CDC

This set of modules is designed for college-level instruction on environmental public health using the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network. It was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Environmental Public Health Tracking Branch through consultation with environmental health instructors.

1. Increase knowledge of fundamental aspects of environmental public health
2. Increase knowledge of the National Environmental Health Tracking Network
3. Develop skill at using the Tracking Network to solve public health problems

Hydroville Curriculum Project, Oregon State University Environmental Sciences Center

Hydroville is a problem-based curriculum for high school students that uses environmental health topics to enhance connections between science, language arts, math, social studies, health, and technology. There are three modules available, each focusing on a real-world environmental health issue — pesticide spill, water quality, and indoor air quality.
