ECHO Use
EPA measures the use of its web pages by a variety of criteria, one of which is page views. The chart below - displayed by federal fiscal year (FY) - shows that ECHO use continues to increase, with more than 3.5 million page views in federal fiscal year 2016. The Clean Water Act Pollutant Loading Tool, which is being integrated into ECHO, is included in the count and has doubled its usage since FY2014, from 517,207 requests in FY2014 to 1,375,309 in FY2016.
Along with increased ECHO usage, EPA is establishing a regular schedule of webinars, blog posts, and other communication to promote, explain, and improve upon ECHO features.
