Dissatisfied with your experience in the federal student aid process? File a formal complaint on behalf of yourself or someone else. We handle

• complaints about applying for and receiving federal loans, grants, and work study; federal loan servicing; and the collection of defaulted federal loans.
• complaints about schools’ administration of federal student aid programs, including misrepresentation of facts about the school or the school’s recruitment and marketing practices.

What to ExpectIf you login with your FSA ID or provide contact information, you should expect to:

• hear back from the U.S. Department of Education within 15 days;
• be provided a resolution within 60 days, if applicable;
• receive a case number to reference your case when you communicate with ED representatives.
