The Science and Technology Partnerships Directorate, Oak Ridge National Laboratory serves as the focal point for technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, business development, economic development, and the furthering of Educational Instructional Partnerships for the Department of Energy as it relates to Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  Our mission is to grow the economy by advancing technology commercialization of scientific discoveries at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and encouraging entrepreneurship while promoting business opportunities. We provide information and data used for policy-making and administer policies, programs, and projects that raise the standard of living across the United States. Our goal is to identify and leverage new economic opportunities and move those opportunities to the private sector.

To meet these goals the Directorate has four distinct divisions, Technology Transfer, Economic Development, Industrial Development, and University Partnerships.  Technology Transfer, Economic Development, and Industrial Development, are further defined on this site.  The University Partnerships Division has a separate site available through the link on the left.  We trust you will find some very interesting and useful information here, and please feel free to contact any member of our staff for additional information and assistance.  A complete staff listing is provided through the link to the left, and each division features links for their individual staff members on their division sites.
