Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 11 – 15, 2016

Statewide Tornado Drills are Thursday, April 14

During the week, the Department of Public Safety and the National Weather Service will be promoting severe weather safety and emergency preparedness information in the media.  In addition, statewide tornado drills will be held Thursday, April 14 at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m.

This is the perfect time for families, communities, schools, and local businesses to review and talk about their emergency plans and how they can prepare for the upcoming severe weather season.
