National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP)

The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) provides third-party accreditation to testing and calibration laboratories in response to legislative actions or requests from government agencies or private-sector organizations. NVLAP-accredited laboratories are assessed against the management and technical requirements published in the International Standard, ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Revision of Handbook 150 released

NVLAP has released the 2016 edition of NIST Handbook 150, NVLAP Procedures and General Requirements.  This addition supersedes and replaces the 2006 edition of the handbook.  Please click here for information regarding the changes in this new publication
