Lake Cascade Snapshot
Lake Cascade offers two group camping opportunities, including Snowbank group camp and Osprey Point group yurts, 232 individual campsites in 9 developed campgrounds (with power, sewer, and water at Poison Creek and Ridgeview)two dispersed camping areas with primitive camping, several day use areas, and 6 boat launch ramps.

Welcome to Lake Cascade State Park
Windsurfers and boat sails crisscross Lake Cascade when the afternoon winds kick up.
Fishers catch rainbow trout, Coho salmon or small mouth bass all year long and hikers or mountain bikers traverse a variety of trails within and beyond the park. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, the nearby North Fork of the Payette River offers world-class white water adventure.
Lake Cascade has as many camping options as it does recreational opportunities with hundreds of campsites ranging from primitive to fully serviced hook-ups. The sites are located along 86 miles of shoreline with beautiful views of Lake Cascade and the North Fork Mountain Range.

Unique Overnight Stays
Osprey Point Group Yurt Camp
There are three large yurts in a common area. Two are on one deck and the third is on a separate deck. This camp is designed to accommodate groups up to 30 people.
Available sleeping
- Bluebird Yurt (20’) has 1 single/ single bunk bed, 1single/double bunk bed, & 1 double futon couch-bed. Sleeps (7)
- Appaloosa Yurt (24’) has 1 single/ single bunk bed, 2 single/ double bunk beds, 2 double futon couch-beds. Sleeps (12)
- Syringa Yurt (24’) has 3 single/double bunk beds, 1 double futon couch-bed. Sleeps (11)
Each yurt has a cook table, a dining table, and folding chairs, a two burner Coleman cook stove and two Coleman lanterns. Renters need to supply their own propane canisters. We recommend 1 canister each appliance per day. The lanterns must have the short fat canisters, not the tall ones. (A stove with both burners on will burn for 1-4.5 hours on one canister; a lantern on full will burn 7 hours.) (Plastic mattress covers are available upon request)

Ammenities
Composting vault (ADA) toilets are available. No shower facilities. Drinking water is available at the outside faucet on the eastside of the well house. Picnic tables are available outside and a large fire ring is between the decks (except in the winter). Showers are at Poison Creek campground when water is available for $3.00 per shower/ person.
No Electricity or Telephones. Some cell phones may work, but you will want to check yours before counting on it.
Renters are responsible for light cleaning.
A broom and dustpan are provided. Sheets and/or plastic mattress covers need to be removed and placed in designated spot.
Each yurt has a wood burning stove.
Firewood is available to purchase for $8.00 per level wheelbarrow load. The stoves will accommodate wood up to 12” long.
Longer pieces of wood do not fit correctly in the fire box and can break the glass in the stove door.
Reminders
Please dispose of your gray water (dish water) in the handicap toilet.
All vehicles must stay in the parking area.
Day use hours are 7am to 10 pm.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE YURTS.
NO PETS are allowed.

- $25.00 reservation fee (non refundable and does not apply to rental fees)
- $180.00 per night for the 3 yurts.
- Children under 3 yrs N/C
- All motorized vehicles require a (MVEF) fee of $5.00 Daily or an Idaho State Parks Passport Sticker or IDPR Annual Pass.
- For an additional charge of $10.60/night per RV or tent you may also have up to five (5) camping units. 8 people per site.
- Firewood is $8.00 per level wheelbarrow load.

The Idaho State Parks Passport: Your State Park Saving Option!
The Idaho State Parks Passport allows Idaho motorists to support Idaho State Parks by agreeing to pay an additional $10 in conjunction with renewing their license plates through the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and County Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Offices. The Passport sticker allows participating Idahoans unlimited daytime entry to Idaho state parks, IDPR operated recreation areas and boating access sites. The Passport will also provide nightly discounts on camping.
When you pay the additional $10 for your passport, you'll receive a sticker that will adhere to your motor vehicle. The sticker will provide unlimited access to all 30 state parks for the entire registration year.
Out-of-state guests will have a savings option too, with the purchase of an Idaho State Park Motor Vehicle Entry Fee (MVEF) Annual.

Our out-of-state guests have savings options too! You can purchase a $40 Motor Vehicle Entry Fee (MVEF) Annual and receive access to all of Idaho's State Parks and nightly discounts on camping. MVEF Annuals can be purchased at any Idaho State Park and online.

Have you always wanted to camp outdoors, bike, fish or engage in paddle sport, but didn’t know the basics, have the proper equipment, or even know where to go? Our First Time Adventure Program brings families and the great outdoors together! We host a fun-filled, outdoor experience for first-time adventurers. Our park's knowledgeable and friendly staff will provide you with gear, show you the ropes and make sure you have fun in the process.
