The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was established in 1927. For 90 years, the BCA has worked with local law enforcement agencies to solve crimes and apprehend criminals.
The BCA has two crime labs, a technology section, and investigators positioned across the state -- meeting the needs of agencies across Minnesota as they work to keep Minnesota safe.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension leads the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, a task force created to investigate and prosecute those who would exploit children on the Internet.
