Description
Twitter is now available for Apple Watch.
Tweet, Retweet, reply and favorite in a flash. Quickly see recent Tweets and top trends. Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick on the wrist. It's Twitter, but littler.

Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.
See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at concerts, sporting events, and more.
Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.
Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.

Vital App
Years ago I worked at a radio station where we had the AP wire service. It was pretty special to have the news from around the world coming in. Now everyone has the equivalent of their own AP wire service in Twitter. The ability to not only have this information at your fingertips, but should be able to organize the sources of information from which you take feeds is invaluable.
In addition to reading what others are posting, is a news organization the Illinois channel is able to post the links to its videos on Twitter. And this is them often Retweeted others who follow us.
Thus Twitter is an invaluable tool. It is as important to a news organization as a hammer is to a Carpenter.
Thank you for the service. Keep up the good work!
Great app...only a couple improvements needed...
I absolutely love Twitter, and Twitter app is awesome! I think it's actually better than Facebook. That being said, there's really only two things that I find a bit irritating. The first, the badge icon for notifications don't always pop up, even though in both the app setting and phone setting all notifications are turned on...including the badge icon setting itself. The second, if there is a alert sound setting in the phone to for said app, said alert sound that has been chosen should be the alert tone for said app. I go into phone settings and choose an alert tone for Twitter, and I still get the stupid tri-tone alert. It's a bit redundant. We should be able to choose what alert tone we want for the app when it's on our phone.
Meh.
Most of this app is passable. The interface is clunky but useable. It's way to cluttered and organized in a way literally no one (but Twitter) likes. All that is forgivable if you enjoy Twitter as a service though. What drives me insane (and always makes me uninstall the app) is the way it handles notifications. No matter how you have it set up in the apps settings and in iOS settings it shows you badge notifications at random. I had it set to show me mentions and retweets only but I would still get badge notifications all the time. It seems like they just show up when people (or paid sponsors) would tweet. The only way to disable this was to turn off badges all together. I chose to just uninstall it.
Twitter,
I like your service. I hate your app. And unfortunately for you I hate using your app more than I like your service.
