Landscape Conservation Cooperatives (LCCs)

Much of the information and tools provided by the Climate Science Centers, including physical and biological research, ecological forecasting, and multi-scale modeling, is in response to the landscape-level priority needs identified by resource management partners, including the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives.

Together, the CSCs, LCCs, and other cross-sector management and science partners make up a broad, national climate science and conservation planning initiative.

The 22 LCCs form a national network of land, water, wildlife, and cultural resource managers, scientists, and interested public and private organizations that share a common need for scientific information and interest in conservation.
