  • Creating a Customized Table in QuickStats

    1. Choosing a Group

Who are you interested in? Students or faculty? Just drag and drop your desired group to the Work Space.

    2. Selecting Variables

What do you want to know about your selected group? Choose from approximately 100 variables, each with accompanying variable information and descriptive statistics.

    3. Viewing your Table or Chart

After you've selected a column and a row variable, click Create Table. After your table appears you will have the option to view it as a chart.

  • KEY FEATURES OF POWERSTATS

    Centiles

    Centiles

    Produces values of a
    continuous variables
    at centiles, displayed
    in columns.

    Averages, Medians, & Percents

    Averages,
    Medians, & Percents

    Computes any of three
    statistics (averages,
    medians, or percentages)
    for your selected variables,
    displayed in columns.

    Percentage Distribution

    Percentage
    Distribution

    General percentage
    of a population in each
    category of a variable,
    displayed in columns.

    Correlation Matrix

    Correlation Matrix

Measures the liner association between a pair of variables. For a user-defined list of variables, PowerStats produces the correlation for each pair and presents them in a matrix.

    Logistic Regression

    Logistic Regression

Logistic regression estimates the relationship between each independent variables and the probability that the dependent variable equals one while controlling for all other independent variables.

    Linear Regression

    Linear Regression

Linear regression estimates the linear relationships, or best-fit line, between each independent variable and the dependent variable while controlling for all other independent variables.
