Dr. Nora Volkow to Speak at X-STEM: Extreme STEM Symposium

Dr. Nora Volkow, director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, part of the National Institutes of Health, will speak about the addicted brain at X-STEM, an Extreme STEM Symposium for middle through high school students on April 14, 2016 in Washington, D.C. X-STEM is a “TED-style” event featuring talks by the nation’s most noted science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals who aim to empower and inspire kids about careers in STEM fields. The X-STEM Symposium will kick off the 4th annual USA Science & Engineering Festival.
