The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity's mission is to administer policies and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and affirmative employment practices and procedures for DSS employees and applicants who seek employment.

Goals
Institutionalize EEO as an integral part of the DSS mission; assure policies are practiced within the organization -eliminating unlawful discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including sexual harassment), age, national origin, genetic information, and disability (physical and mental), and to meet goals and objectives outlined in the annual Affirmative Employment Program Plan.
