Request for Information for the CY 2016 President's Report

In his memorandum to federal agency heads, dated November 30, 2016, Dr. David Michaels, the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA), requested that federal agencies provide OSHA with the requested information that will form the basis of the 2016 Secretary of Labor's Report to the President on Federal Department and Agency Occupational Safety and Health Program Activity (Report). The memorandum includes the templates for the agency narrative and 5 appendices. Each reporting agency should use these appendices as needed. For example, Appendix 4 should be used by all federal agencies to report their self-evaluation of their safety and health management systems; Appendix 5 is intended for use by the General Services Administration and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health only - other agencies do not need to submit this appendix in their reports to OSHA's Office of Federal Agency Programs (OFAP). Agency reports are due to OSHA/OFAP by May 2, 2016. If you have questions regarding your agency's submission for the Report, please contact OFAP, at 202.693.2122.
