Electronic Project Management (ePM)

Public Buildings Service (PBS) is proud to host electronic Project Management (ePM), a web-based tool that creates a collaborative work environment for PBS-sponsored design and construction projects. This tool allows project teams to consolidate planning, design, procurement, and construction into a single, collaborative system.  Contractors are strongly encouraged to adopt the ePM and should contact their GSA project managers to get started.

Features Communicate instantly and securely with government teams: GSA’s ePM provides a Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU)-compliant, secure workspace to enable collaboration with architect/engineering/construction (AEC) industry partners and customers.

Increase project efficiency: With ePM, design and construction stakeholders can develop schedules, manage budgets, collaborate online, manage contracts, and securely store drawings, photos, and other project related documents. Because this information is input to a centralized repository, duplication of data entry is minimized.

Standardize technology and processes: GSA’s ePM uses commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software, increasing its compatibility with industry advances in project delivery.

Learn best practices: Through ePM, project teams can rigorously analyze data and trends across portfolios, programs, and projects to optimize "lessons learned" and value-engineering opportunities.
