Training is critical to advancing community policing. The COPS Office is a leader in providing innovative community policing training that builds relationships to improve public trust and public safety by developing the knowledge, skills, and practices of state, local, and tribal law enforcement officers.

The COPS Office develops and disseminates courses on emerging policing issues and community policing for all levels of law enforcement as well as the community.
