Federal Initiatives

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) plays a key role in representing and advocating for individuals with disabilities and older adults throughout the federal government. This includes ensuring that individuals with disabilities and older adults are represented, and directly involved as appropriate, in the development and implementation of policies, programs, and regulations related to community living.
