Agency Accountable Official
Per Executive Order 13520, the head of each agency responsible for operating a high-priority program (discussed on the Supplemental Measures and Targets page) must designate an official who holds an existing Senate-confirmed position to be accountable for meeting the targets established by the order. Carolyn W. Colvin, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, is our accountable official for improper payments.
