Community of Practice on Cultural and Linguistic Competence in Developmental Disabilities Accepting Applications
The Georgetown University National Center for Cultural Competence is now accepting applications for its Community of Practice (CoP) on Cultural and Linguistic Competence in Developmental Disabilities.
The CoP seeks to transform state/territorial developmental disabilities systems by:
- Advancing and sustaining cultural and linguistic competence systemically through changes in values, policy, structures, and practices; and
- Responding effectively to the growing cultural and linguistic diversity among people with DD and their families.
The CoP is funded by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Applications are due by March 31, 2017.
