AgACIS Climate Data and Summary Reports

AgACIS (Agricultural Applied Climate Information System) is a repository for data collected at stations in the National Weather Service Cooperative Network.  Data and several standard summary reports are available.  Historically, the most common summary reports used in NRCS are TAPS (temperature and precipitation summary), FROST (frost-free days), GROWTH (growing season length), and WETS (wetlands determination). AgACIS is supported by the Northeast Regional Climate Center.

PRISM

USDA has a long-term partnership with the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University. PRISM is a technique that uses point data in conjunction with a digital elevation model to create gridded datasets of precipitation and temperature for the U.S.
