About
- Library service began when Spencer Fullerton Baird arrived in Woods Hole in 1871 as the first Commissioner of the US Commission of Fish and Fisheries. He set up the research laboratory which is now part of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center.
Collections
- Research areas include marine ecosystems, biological oceanography, population dynamics, protected species, social sciences and stock assessments.
Woods Hole Laboratory staff have access and borrowing privileges at the MBLWHOI Library.
Materials are only loaned to staff and other libraries.Hours
