The Library is an integral, effective, and preeminent partner in the research and training effort and accomplishments at NIEHS.  Information professionals provide library services of the highest caliber that meet expressed and anticipated needs of the research and administrative staff, especially through innovative technological means.

About the Library

The NIEHS Library manages information and knowledge to advance environmental health. The library does this by:

  • Providing access to information and educating users in how to access that information.
  • Creating and maintaining information and knowledge systems using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Participating in the development of information and knowledge management policies.

The NIEHS Library is open to the public by appointment.
