successful grant seeker.
At the end of the interactive, two-day workshop, you will

Comprehensive workshop materials will include grant writing tips, sample
proposals, checklists, forms, and much more to help guide your grant seeking
efforts when you get back to your school or office.

SchoolGrants was created in 1999 as a way to share
grant information with PK-12 educators. Grant writing can be
intimidating to those who are new at it. SchoolGrants helps ease
those fears by providing online tips to those who need them. Finding
suitable grant opportunities requires a great deal of time and research -
SchoolGrants reduces the effort by listing a variety of
opportunities available to public and private nonprofit elementary and secondary schools and districts
across the United States. The SchoolGrants goal is to help the most kids possible
by empowering those who teach them with the knowledge and resources
necessary to write successful grant proposals. All of those who use
the SchoolGrants site are encouraged to share their own insights as it is
only through open sharing that the most children will benefit across this
great Nation! |
|
NOTE:
SchoolGrants does not have information about daycare
grants, private
school scholarships, and/or tuition assistance for individual students. I
also do not have information about how for-profit organizations can find
grant opportunities.

Newsletters
There are two electronic newsletters available through SchoolGrants.
The
SchoolGrants Biweekly Newsletter (SBN) is
published twice each month. Available at the incredibly low price of
only $45/year per subscriber, the newsletter provides up-to-date,
researched information about upcoming grant opportunities, available grant
resources (the majority of which are free), grant writing hints, and
upcoming deadlines. A sample of the SBN is available by
clicking
here. (You will need the free Adobe
Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view the sample
newsletter.)
The SchoolGrants Bimonthly Newsletter is a very abbreviated version
of the SBN. It contains a brief summary of relevant news and a few
current grant opportunities for PK-12 schools. It is published every
other month. |
