What Is an Aquatic Species?
Aquatic species are animals that live in or require aquatic habitats for their survival. We manage fish and mussel species in the Midwest Region. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of native species, recovering threatened and endangered species, maintaing fish health, and controlling and managing aquatic invasive species.
