Conference theme:

“Integrating Mercury Research and Policy in a Changing World”

We are delighted to be hosting 13th edition of the International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant, in beautiful Providence, Rhode Island, USA from Jul 16 – 21, 2017. This conference has been held every two to three years since 1990.

Mercury is a complex, multifaceted contaminant whose transformations, bioaccumulation, and exposure are affected by numerous interacting processes and phenomena. International efforts to curb mercury emissions and local efforts to address mercury contamination both rely on high quality research. Accordingly, the conference will engage a diverse community of participants, including industry, government, research institutions, NGOs, and academics. The technical program will reflect the latest advances, highlight critical understanding, and promote active discussion of the science of mercury and innovative strategies for its management.

If you are a stakeholder in the field of Mercury, you need to be at this important gathering.

We are thrilled to be able to host the world in Providence and look forward to sharing a phenomenal conference experience.

Sincerely,
ICMGP 2017 Conference Organizing Committee Co Chairs:
Charles Driscoll, Syracuse University (Co-Chair)
Celia Chen, Dartmouth College (Co-Chair)

We look forward to seeing you in 2017!
