This site was created and is maintained by the SDCs to showcase the work of their members and how they make Census data relevant to their communities, which guides local decision making. The value added by SDCs members includes enhancing Census data with other information, such as economic statistics or population forecasts, which may be produced in-house or come from sources other than the Bureau. Combining and interpreting Census data with other key measures is a value SDC members provide to the public.
