NOAA Fisheries Joins World’s Experts To Advance Climate-Ready Fisheries Management

Next week (March 23 - 27, 2015), NOAA Fisheries scientists will join researchers from 50 nations around the world at The Third International Symposium: Effects of Climate Change on the World’s Oceans. This rare opportunity will bring the international science community together to assess the impacts of climate change on our oceans and help advance climate-ready fisheries management. NOAA Fisheries is already taking action to address the effects of climate change on U.S. fisheries and protected species. This includes a new national Climate Science Strategy that is part of a proactive approach to collect and provide information on changing climate and ocean conditions to resource managers and affected sectors.
