R. Paul Dorman, Project Leader - Paul became the Project Leader at Inks Dam in December 2010 after serving as the Assistant Project Leader for the prior six years. Paul started his career with the service at Inks Dam NFH after working for three other state agencies which includes the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Department of Natural Resources, and Iowa Department of Natural Resources. During his 24 year career he has raised nine different cold-water salmonid species including rainbow, steelhead, West Slope cutthroat, Bear Lake cutthroat, golden, brown, and lake trouts along with chinook and kokanee salmon and nine warm-water species including walleye, sauger, hybrid saugeye, largemouth bass, striped bass, hybrid striped bass, channel catfish, American paddlefish, and Clear Creek Gambusia. He received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Iowa State University, with a major field of study in fisheries and wildlife biology and a minor in Aquaculture.

Scott Walker, Assistant Project Leader - Scott became the Assistant Project Leader at Ink’s Dam in 2014 after five years with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) as a Natural Resource Specialist. Scott began his fisheries career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines where he worked as a Coastal Resource Manager. Following his Peace Corps Service, Scott worked as a National Marine Fisheries Service Groundfish Observer in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and Pacific Northwest. He began his graduate studies in 2002 and conducted research in the areas of penaeid shrimp feed chemoattractants and computer simulation modeling of shrimp growth based on metabolism and conventional bioenergetics. Scott finished his graduate studies in 2009 and went to work in marine stock enhancement with TPWD. During his time with TPWD, Scott worked with red drum, spotted seatrout and southern flounder. Scott has a B.S. in Biology from Texas Tech University, M.S. in Mariculture from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and a PhD in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University - College Station. His areas of expertise are recirculating aquaculture systems, larval fish rearing and eco-physiology.

Tammy Simmons, Administrative Support Assistant - Tammy became the Administrative Support Assistant at Inks Dam in 2015. Tammy served for six and half years in the U.S. Army as a Unit Level Logistic Specialist in Germany and at the Fort Hood Military Reservation in Killeen, Texas. She then went to work for Contract Services, as a civilian, working as a contracted Property Production Control Clerk for seven years at Ft. Riley, Kansas. Tammy then joined the National Guard, in 2012, at the National Guard base in Manhattan, Kansas and Brownwood, Texas. At both locations, she was a Material Examiner & Identifier. Tammy’s expertise is in logistics and property control.

Gregory Landry, Fisheries Biologist - Greg began his fisheries career as a volunteer at Natchitoches NFH and eventually signed up as a cooperative education student there. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Fisheries Biology he finished a tour in the Peace Corps as a marine resource educator. When he came back he joined the Service as an Animal Caretaker at Natchitoches NFH before he came to Inks Dam NFH as a Fish Biologist. He has worked with hybrid striped bass, Florida strain largemouth bass, channel catfish, assorted sunfish species, pallid sturgeon, Gulf sturgeon, Clear Creek Gambusia, and American paddlefish. He has also worked with alligator snapping turtles and Louisiana pearl shell mussels.

Jerry Simmons, Maintenance Worker - Jerry became the Maintenance worker at Inks Dam in 2014. After High School Jerry began his career by attending Universal Technical Institute in Houston TX, and graduated as a diesel Technician. Jerry then joined the U.S. Army in 1989 as a diesel mechanic. Jerry was stationed in numerous duty locations overseas, as well as state side locations, which enhanced his technical and leadership skills. Jerry retired from military service as a Motor Sergeant and Platoon Sergeant in 2005. Jerry then went into DOD contracting for 8 years with Fort Riley Kansas as a Heavy Wheeled Mechanic. His expertise is in Diesel Technology.

Jerry Crouch, General Facilities Maintenance- Jerry came to Inks Dam in 2014 from Aransas Wildlife Refuge as a Maintenance Worker. Jerry graduated from Aransas Pass High School in 1989. After high school Jerry joined the US Air Force, in 1989, and worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Auto Body Paint Specialist and a Heavy Equipment Operator. Jerry was stationed at various bases throughout the United States, as well as, the Middle East and Asia. Jerry joined the US Air Force Reserves in 1998 and was stationed in Las Vegas Nevada. Jerry spent 14 years in the Air Force before deciding to leave. Jerry worked for the Nevada Department of Corrections as a Warehouse Delivery Driver, before working in the private industry as an Equipment Operator for Local 12 Union. Jerry has also worked at Anahuac Wildlife Refuge. Jerry’s expertise is in transporting of goods and equipment. Jerry also preforms general welding, carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical for the Hatchery.
