Hello from Dr. Jeff Howard, and welcome to the University of Maryland Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Website! We hope your visit here with us will be helpful and inspiring. 4-H is the largest youth development program in the nation with just over 6 million youth participating annually – 76,178 of them are right here in Maryland.  If you are curious, you can find out more about 4-H at the Join 4-H Page. If you are Maryland 4-H alumni you can join our alumni group or support us on the Maryland 4-H Foundation page.  If you are a 4-Her or volunteer you will be able to find out about our state 4-H events coming up or if you are staff you will find all the forms and resources to help you.
