WSSU Approved to Offer Doctorate Program in Nursing Practice
Winston-Salem State University has received approval from the University of North Carolina's Board of Governors to establish a doctor of nursing practice program that should be available to students in fall 2013.

Winston-Salem State University has received a $140,000 grant from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation to be used for general scholarships during the upcoming 2013-2014 academic year.
WSSU announces new staff positions in the Registrar's Office
Winston-Salem State University has announced three staff changes within the Office of the Registrar. Carmen Wigfall has been named associate registrar, Andrial M. Nwaugha has been named graduation services manager and Travis J. Mills will serve as graduation services assistant according to Sharon Stoddard, University Registrar.
