VTCA and DMM announce the Safety Award winners. Nearly 250 mineral mines in Virginia did not have a lost time accident in 2015. The eight mines being recognized for their safety records in 2015 worked the highest number of production hours in their category for the year without a lost time accident for a total of 403,423 hours.
