Trump referred to Johnson as "ambassador" during remarks at a D.C. luncheon, per the NY Post. This has been rumored for months. Johnson, a major Trump fundraiser, said recently it "would be an honor to be considered" for the post. Johnson would be required to live in England. He'd probably have to give up day-to-day control of the team. His brother, Christopher, reportedly could assume that role.

Colts owner Jim Irsay announced on Twitter that QB Andrew Luck had outpatient surgery on his right shoulder, an issue that had bothered him since the 2015 season. Irsay said Luck will be ready for the 2017 season.Luck aggravated his shoulder while trying to make a tackle after throwing an interception against Denver in Week 2 this season. Luck was listed on the team's injury report every week this season and was usually limited in practice on Thursday's.
