Reprints are timely. NEJM reprints can be ready to distribute within two weeks of publication. In some cases, they can be ready on the day they're published.

    PAPER REPRINTS

    Paper reprints are high quality reproductions of NEJM articles that can be distributed anywhere in the world. Paper reprint opportunities include:

    Day of publication delivery. Place a pre-order for articles not yet published. We will not be able to confirm a specific delivery date, but can guarantee delivery on the day of publication within the US. Reprints shipped outside of the US will be shipped via expedited service. 

    Early release reprints. You can order reprints of early-release articles as soon as they appear on NEJM.org.

    Flexible production. Paper Reprints will ship within 3 to 4 weeks with standard delivery. 

    Rush service. Available at an additional charge. Your reprints ship within 7 to 10 days of your order.

    Quality translations. Communicate important medical research in your local language. For quantities of 500 or more, we'll translate reprints into any language to faithfully match the original English version.

    Color available. For NEJM articles published with color graphics, we can produce your reprints in color for an additional charge, for a minimum quantity of 500 or more.

    Any quantity, large or small. You can order reprints in quantities of 100 to 500,000 or more.

    Your own code. We'll print your inventory codes on your reprints.

    Disclaimers. We'll print disclaimers on reprints in accordance with FDA guidelines and regulatory recommendations.  Ask your NEJM reprint representative for more information.

    Prescribing information. To give physicians easy access to prescribing details, we'll print your prescribing information and saddle-stictch it at the end of your reprint. 

    Reprint proofs. You can check layout and special codes by ordering a locked PDF proof.

    Shrink wrap. To make it easy to distribute reprints, we'll shrink-wrap your reprints in packets of 25.

    Your own separate inserts. If you have special instruction for distributing the reprints, we'll shrink-wrap them with your reprints.

    ELECTRONIC REPRINTS

    With flexible DRM, you can determine if you would like the content to be read-only, printable, etc. NEJM uses Sheridan Press as its DRM vendor. Ask your reprints representative about:

    TRANSLATIONS OF ARTICLE REPRINTS

    The New England Journal of Medicine offers translated reprints in any language, matching the reliability of the original English language version.  Translated reprints offer a more convenient way to educate your target audience in their local language.  NEJM offers customers two opportunities to review the translation.

    NEJM will send the first draft (unformatted) of the translation within 5-7 business days of your order.  Upon final approval of the translation, the reprints are printed and ready for shipment in approximately 10 business days.

    Reproductions of articles from the New England Journal of Medicine are available in bulk quantities in English and translated versions only when supplied directly by the Publishing Division of the Massachusetts Medical Society (NEJM) or one of its Publishing Partners. Reprints may not be further reproduced in any manner without the express permission of NEJM.

    Reprints are available in both paper and electronic formats upon publication. Reprints of articles from NEJM are for use only as standalone educational materials. NEJM does not permit the reproduction of its name, logo, or text on promotional literature. 

    Reprints of articles from NEJM may not be altered in any way. No additional printing may be set onto a reprint other than what has been printed by the Journal. This includes, but is not limited to, the placement of sponosorship identifiers, trademarks, logos, rubber stamping or self-adhesive stickers onto the reprints. Further, we do not allow any text other than what has been published by NEJM to be printed directly onto text pages, with the exception of inventory codes.

    Reprints must be a freestanding part of any information package (eg, media kit) into which they are inserted. They may not be physically attached to anything, such as advertising inserts, or have anything attached to them, such as a product sample. Article reprints must be easily removed from any kits or informational packages in which they are used.
