A Tradition of Innovation

NEJM Group was created by the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) to continue and broaden the organization’s leadership in the complex, rapidly changing areas of biomedical research, clinical practice, health care delivery, and ongoing medical education.

Founded in 1781, MMS is the oldest continuously operating medical society in the United States and remains dedicated to educating and advocating for the patients and physicians of Massachusetts.

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) is the oldest continuously published medical periodical, having celebrated 200 years of service to the medical community in 2012.

NEJM Journal Watch was founded in 1987 and publishes physician-edited summaries and clinical commentary on current research findings in 13 medical specialties.

NEJM Knowledge+ launched in April 2014 and combines a new learning platform with gold-standard content to deliver the most efficient, engaging, and effective way to learn, improve the quality of practice, and prepare for the board exams.

NEJM Catalyst, launched in December of 2015, brings executives, clinician leaders, and the clinical community together to share and discover the most innovative and practical ideas for transforming the way health care is delivered.

NEJM Resident 360, launched in June of 2016, supports medical residents with the essential information they need to approach residency and their careers with confidence.

NEJM 医学前沿 launched in November 2016 to help advance Chinese clinical practice and medical research through shared content and commentary.
