Fighting Ebola: A Window for Vaccine Re-evaluation?

In this Opinions article, Keith J. Chappell and Daniel Watterson discuss the 2014/2015 West Aftrican EBOV outbreak and advocate for the careful assessment of the risks and benefits of utilizing live replicating vaccines for Ebola and for the expedition of subunit and other nonreplicating vaccines into clinical trials to provide alternatives for protection against Ebola.
