This website is designed to help educators understand climate and weather concepts and to be able to incorporate the learning material from this site into their course curriculum using examples as aids for learning. It is also useful for anyone else who wants a basic understanding of weather and climate, especially in the southeastern United States. 

How do I use this site?

Use the dropdown tabs at the top of the page to choose a webpage to visit.

If you don't feel like you know where to start, browse the Index.

Under the Resources tab is a link to the NC DPI website where the National Science Education Standards are located. Each webpage within this website has a link to the standards that accompany the information within the page itself. Activities for you or your class to use can be found on many of the webpages.
