The CRONOS Database contains weather observations for various stations across North Carolina and in the surrounding states. Through the CRONOS interface, users can access hourly data as far back as 7 days, daily data back 180 days, and monthly data back 4 years. Any data outside of these time intervals needs to be requested from our office.

To request climate information from the State Climate Office of NC, please fully complete the following form and click the submit button at the bottom. All spaces should be completed or processing could be delayed.

Please view the interactive map of stations for your region of interest. These maps will give you the exact locations for which we can provide hourly and daily observations. While we cannot always find data for all locations, we can often find information for areas near the site of interest. Please complete the following as explicitly as possible to insure we deliver what you want!
