Tip of the week: Analyze App users loyalty

When analyzing user behavior, it is important to keep in mind the behavioral changes across sessions. It might be, for example, that users get bored around the 3rd session; if you have this information you might consider making a special offer around that session...

Using Google App Analytics you can find this information quite easily: Log in to Google Analytics > Behavior tab > Behavior drop down > Loyalty. You will see the table below. As an example, you can see below that in this App there is a strange drop in conversion rates on the 3rd and 5th sessions.

Tip of the week: Exclude internal traffic from your data

When you analyze your data, you are probably trying to understand how your customers behave and how to provide them with a better experience. However, your employees often visit your website too, for many reasons, and that might be affecting the accuracy of your data.

In order to remove internal traffic from your data, we recommend adding a filter excluding internal traffic based on your IP Address. Here is how to do it: goo.gl/VRWCW2

However, your company might not have static IP addresses, or employees work from home, or you also want to remove the traffic from 3rd party agencies working for you.
