Robert Holland |
A program to gather marine mammal sighting data during ship transects. Data can be collected during on/off effort transects. There are two main windows: Graph and Data. The graph window will show the sightings in relation to the bow of the ship using a GPS. The data window is where the operator enters all data. WinDACS = Windows Data Acquisition System. A program to collect oceanographic data real-time during ship transects. It can gather seawater temperature/conductivity/salinity, GPS location, and Analog-to-Digital (A/D) chlorophyll data from a Turner Fluorometer. A graph shows the current cruise track of the ship as well as a temperature/salinity profile. Please contact the author for information on obtaining this program. This program will only run on Windows 95/98/ME Instructions (PDF) |
