This workshop was held at the NOAA Environmental Science Training Center in Oxford, Maryland, August 15-17, 2012.

In 2012, the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office completed development of Chesapeake Exploration, an online set of activities that will give teachers and students unprecedented access to lessons designed around real-time data from the Bay watershed. The NOAA Environmental Science Training Center hosted a workshop for educators that provided participants training in the content and use of Chesapeake Exploration. During this workshop the group also collaboratively developed ideas for new activities and aligned the current activities with Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania education standards.
