Socio-Economics

Economists at the SWFSC survey and analyze the economic and socio-cultural parameters of living marine resource utilization and management options. These studies include the data, methods and analyses needed to address economic issues associated with fisheries and protected species and also include the assessments of the economic values of resources and the sectors that harvest them, community profiles and analyses of socio-cultural impacts.
