The Board’s meetings, which are open to the public, are held every two months in Washington, DC.  At least one meeting every year is held outside the Washington area and is structured as a town meeting.  The Board’s bylaws provide that Board meetings be held on the Wednesday following the second Tuesday of every other month.  The meeting dates for future committee and Board meetings are listed below.  The first day listed is a Monday in the event there is a need for a three-day Board meeting.  Under its fragrance-free policy, the Board requests that all participants refrain from wearing perfume, cologne and other fragrances, and use unscented personal care products in order to promote a fragrance-free environment at its meetings and other public events.

This calendar provides a listing of the different locations across the country where Access Board is scheduled to provide training on its guidelines and standards and other aspects of accessible design.  The Board provides training to firms, associations, agencies, and other groups upon request.  While on the road, the Board looks for opportunities to meet with other audiences or visit accessible facilities nearby.  If you would like to schedule or recommend a visit, please contact the Board's Training Coordinator Earlene Sesker at (202) 272-0022 (voice) or (202) 272-0091 (TTY) or send an e-mail to training@access-board.gov.  Inquiries regarding participation in the programs listed should be directed to the sponsoring agency, firm, or association.

Board meetings and other events are held at the Board’s conference space at 1331 F Street NW, Suite 800, in downtown Washington, D.C.  The 2,720 square foot space, which is located two floors below the Board’s 10th floor offices, features an integrated assistive listening loop system that fully covers meeting and spectator areas, ceiling-mounted projectors, automated projection screens, supplementary monitors, and artwork made available by Easter Seals and VSA Arts.
