Critical Temperatures for Frost Damage on Fruit Trees is hosted by Utah State Cooperative Extension and based on information developed by Washington State University for apple, pear, apricot, cherry, peach and nectarine. It lists Fahrenheit temperatures for each stage of crop development from bud break through post bloom at which 10% and 90% bud kill occurs after 30 minutes exposure.

Drought Monitoring using the Palmer Drought Severity Index (PDSI) and Crop Moisture Index (CMI) are hosted by the NWS and generated in graphical and tabular formats by the Climate Prediction Center. This webpage provides access to several drought monitoring products and historical records.

The Weather Activity Planner is an interactive tool from the National Weather Service (NWS) that generates results from their national digital forecast database. The Weather Activity Planner webpage is served from Buffalo, NY, but you can enter your latitude and longitude to access results for your location. The Activity Planner allows a user to define weather parameters for the future and produce a forecast for activity planning. For example, wind speed and temperature parameters could be designated for optimal spray application conditions and the Activity Planner will return results indicating the dates and times when weather forecasts meet those parameters.
