RULES OF BEHAVIOR

As a participant in the Google Drive for Work Pilot Program, you must complete and sign the form outlining acceptable behavior of all pilot users during this exercise. PLEASE BE AWARE that your signature on this form confirms that you understand the guidelines and will comply with the Rules of Behavior.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download the Rules of Behavior from the above link and save it with your name or initials in the filename. If you are unable to download this form, you can request a copy from OCIOPilot@hq.doe.gov
  2. Open the form in Microsoft Word (preferably 2010, or a later edition). If you do not have Microsoft Word, proceed as if you do not have a DoE PIV Smart Card (Badge)
  3. Review the guidelines in the form. For questions, send an email to OCIOPilot@hq.doe.gov 
  4. Proceed to Section Five (5), Acknowledgement (pg. 4). Type your name and the date in the Pilot User field
  5. Insert your HSPD-12 Department of Energy PIV Smart Card (Badge) in your card reader. If you do not have a card, skip to Step Eleven (11).
  6. After you've inserted the card, double-click the Signature of Pilot User field. You may also right-click on the field and select ‘Sign.’
  7. If Microsoft Word displays a warning dialog box related to digital signatures, click on the ‘OK’ button to proceed.
  8. In the Sign window, type your name next to the ‘X’ or insert an image of your signature above Signature of Pilot User.
  9. Confirm that Word has inserted your Digital Signature at the bottom. It should indicate you are Signing As your name. The signature is Issued by: Entrust Managed Services SSP CA.
  10. If the Digital Signature is missing or incorrect, click the ‘Insert’ or ‘Change’ button and select the certificate entitled “YOUR NAME’s US Government Digital Signature.” (If you are a contractor, select “YOUR NAME (Affiliate)’s US Government Digital Signature").
  11. If you do not have a PIV Smart Card (Badge), save and print the form and sign the Pilot User signature line.
  12. If you are a non-DoE Employee or Contractor, have your DOE Sponsor complete and sign the bottom portion of the signature section. You will need to submit two separate files if you are using Digital Signatures for both the Pilot User and DOE Sponsor: one with the Pilot User Signature, and one with the DOE Sponsor Signature.
  13. Email a digital copy of the completed form to OCIOPilot@hq.doe.gov, or provide a hard copy to your Pilot Program point of contact.

SIGNING IN

Pilot members should sign in to Google Apps using the GApps.doe.gov account provided to them. If you do not have an account, please contact  OCIOPilot@hq.doe.gov.
