Day Use Fees

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Cumberland charges a day use fee at selected areas. The recreation areas on Lake Cumberland charging these fees are Waitsboro, Fishing Creek, Cumberland Point, Halcomb’s Landing, Kendall and Fall Creek. These areas offer some or all of the following: playgrounds, boat launching ramps, bathrooms, picnic sites and picnic shelters. The day-use fees are $5.00.

America the Beautiful pass holders can enter these recreation areas for free as long as their pass is properly displayed in a hang tag.

A paid camping permit from a Corps operated campground will entitle the holder to use any designated day use facility without paying the day user fee on the day for which the camping permit is valid.
