LOCATION: Cumberland County, Tennessee
CONGRESSIONAL INTEREST: Senators Bob Corker(R), Lamar Alexander(R) and state Representative Diane Black(R, TN-6),
NON-FEDERAL SPONSOR: City of Crossville.
BACKGROUND: The primary objective of this project is to estimate population growth in Cumberland County, Tennessee and the demand for water up to the year 2056. The study considers all utility districts within the Cumberland County, TN, that makes up the regional project. The study will determine the unmet need for water and present alternatives to meet the projected need. An environmental impact statement, to include engineering analysis of alternatives will be prepared.
IMPORTANCE: Determine water demand for the County and assist in identifying alternative to meet the demand.

SCHEDULE:
FY 2014 Completed Work: Develop Scope of Work to continue the needs assessment.
FY 2015 Scheduled Work: Complete the needs assessment and begin the Environmental Impact Statement work along with the Detailed Feasiblity study.
